The “church” has been rushed to the emergency room and is in need of immediate medical attention. One member of the body in the midst of great pain looked around the room after days of waiting and said, “We have a problem……we are the doctors on call!” With hearts pounding, the members called for everyone to get out of the bed and make their way, crawling or walking to the conference room. As all the so called patients assembled from all different ailments, affiliations and affirmations, a still small voice asked, “Why are you waiting for the cure when you have my stripes to heal yourself?

The blame game started with Adam and Eve, so it is nothing new to man. We have subconsciously; yet comfortably shifted the responsibility of saving souls and defeating the enemy to a seasoned blend of worldly principles and an appearance of godliness. We are more convinced that we can miss the mark safely. Men still blame women and women still blame men for the reasons why we cannot be who God wants us to be. When that is not sufficient we have numerous other ways to explain our nakedness.

Will the church reposition and realign itself with the Word of God, the Logos, to repair the breach or will it abort the birthing process? Those that refuse to abort their covenant relationship with God, that determines the true church, will find themselves in a dichotic birthing position…natural and spiritual, in these end times. We still have some things to birth such that we can speak the same language and begin to mend back together.

We are living under “open heavens” but moving only in Him, God, the father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The church is many members attached to one body. It is time we come to the conference room and birth one language to defeat the spiritual attacks on the body. The Word of God is our spiritual, historical and prophetic in¬structor’s manual. We are participating in confusing the world and we wonder why the spirit of confusion is rampart in the minds and sanctuary of the church. Is it profitable to accom¬modate man to maintain membership? Do you prac¬tice sacrifice or obedience? What spirits do you unleash in your music ministry, espe¬cially in praise and worship? Can Pastors nationally and internationally learn from each other and present a unified message? Can we transcend traditional notions of church, under guard of attendees, and see ministry beyond walls as the purpose?
